The Midnight Sun Yacht Charter rental accommodates up to six guests in three beautifully appointed staterooms, each with full bathroom ensuite. Showers are large with individual enclosures and European-style shower heads. Toilets are automatic, silent and odor free. Our high capacity reverse osmosis water maker ensures a plentiful supply of fresh water and hot water is available at all times.
The spacious guest cabins are located forward, away from crew traffic and all machinery noise. Each has its own TV and DVD, excellent lighting and either a portlight or a hatch.
The plush main salon features comfy leather furniture, a cozy wood-burning stove, guest bar with a refrigerator and clear ice maker, elaborate activity center with 42″ TV, BluRay DVD, surround sound, Sirius satellite radio, 300+ movies for all ages, video games connection, and board games. The Midnight Sun has quiet hot water central heating and an ever-changing panoramic view of rugged Alaska outdoor scenery. All it’s majestic proportions are visible while seated in the comfort of the yacht’s main salon and pilothouse.
The Pilot House.
A large leather settee, big chart table and an Alaska nature library, large wrap around windows and a secure outside walk-around deck for wildlife viewing and photography make the pilothouse the preferred spot to relax and enjoy all Southeast Alaska has to offer. We have six guest binoculars available to help spot the diverse Alaskan wildlife we are sure to encounter along the way.
Gear and Equipement.
The Midnight Sun has dinghies for for wildlife viewing, fishing & exploring with or without a crew operator. The 14-foot Battelli RIB has a 40 HP electric start, center console steering, radio and navigation equipment and depth sounder for fishing; the 12-foot Alaskan inflatable has a 15 HP outboard and a specially reinforced bottom for beaching on rocks or barnacles.
Whether it is a rain coat for hiking, rain boots for splashing through creeks, binoculars for whale sighting, portable radios and backpacks for shore hikes, kayaks for exploring, or hi-tech rods for trolling for salmon or catching the trophy halibut, we’ve got the gear you need for a fantastic adventure.
